Share selected guides without opening the library
Collect a selection in a folder and send a link. The recipient can read right away - no accounts, neither for them nor for you. They see exactly what you put in the folder, and nothing else.

Sharing is set up in one place in the administration, and the link can be closed again with one click.

Collect the guides in a folder
Choose the ones the recipient should have, and drag them into the order they should be read in. A folder can be called whatever makes sense to them - “Getting started” for a new customer, for example.

Choose whether attachments are included
Attachments are opted in per folder. New attachments therefore never leave the building automatically because someone added them to a guide later.

Send the link
The recipient opens it and reads. There's no account to create, no email to confirm and nothing to install.

Close it when you're done
One link per recipient, with a name and a validity: 7, 30 or 90 days, a year - or no expiry, if it's a permanent partner. It can be closed early with one click, and you can see how many times it has been opened.
What it looks like for the recipient
The same step view your own employees get - just without the rest of the library, and without an account.
- Only the folder's guides. There's no way further into the library
- Step by step with screenshots, just like internally
- Can be searched and shown as a list - in the order you've set
- Can be read aloud, and downloaded as Word or PDF if you've chosen that
- If the recipient has MyGuides themselves, the folder can be saved in their own portal and kept up to date from you
What sharing doesn't do
It doesn't give access to the rest
The recipient sees the folder. The library, the search and everything else don't exist for them.
It doesn't record who opened it
The link counts openings. Who was behind them, we deliberately don't store - it's not ours to know.
It doesn't send attachments by itself
Attachments are a choice per folder. If someone adds a new attachment to a guide afterwards, it doesn't automatically go out.
It isn't open by default
The feature is enabled per instance. If it isn't enabled for you, sharing isn't in the menu.
What people ask
- Does the recipient need a license?
- No. A share link requires no account, neither for the recipient nor for you.
- Can they edit the guides?
- No. They read along. If they have MyGuides themselves and save the folder in their own portal, they can't edit it there either - it's kept up to date from you.
- What if the link is forwarded?
- Then the next person can read the folder too. That's why the link expires by itself, can be closed with one click, and counts how many times it has been opened.
- Can we see who has read what?
- Not for a share link. You can see the number of openings, but not who. For your own employees who are signed in, you can see progress per person.
